Overview
Horwath HTL was appointed by Albanian Development Fund on a World Bank funded Project for Integrated Urban and Tourism Development (PIUTD) in Southern Albania, as a consultant for tourism component of the project
Description of Project
Horwath HTL was appointed to define the tourism development plan which consists of status quo of tourism in South Albania with focus on 4 selected municipalities. Strategic framework for development of each municipality and 5-years growth goals were set. Moreover, Horwath HTL defined product development strategy and developed an effective marketing strategy. Part of the project was also a design of a destination management system and proposition of key institutional and legislative initiatives to be implemented on a national and regional level.
