Overview
Being one of the most advanced tourism regions in the surrounding, Istria region is in constant search for world-class improvement solutions in tourism sphere.
Description of Project
Horwath HTL has been appointed by regional DMO to develop comprehensive development master plan including 11 major operational strategies (accommodation, product development, accessibility, EU funding, tourism infrastructure, HR development, institutional and management framework, quality management and investments). All strategies were elaborated and implementation plan was defined for the next 10 years of tourism development.
Apart from the master plan, an operational marketing strategy for the period 2016-2018 was developed with 7 strategic objectives and operational measures how to achieve them.
